With his leg Kléber Rossi managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when PEGARU FC's Hugo Peres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luís Fabiano Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 11 minutes, Luís Fabiano Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Assacaio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fabiano Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Régis Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Peres in the 20th minute. Hugo Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, João Vítor Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes, Tony Capixaba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Assacaio and the PEGARU FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Assacaio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. Régis Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34thth minute of the game Luís Fabiano Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PEGARU FC's Maurinho Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, PEGARU FC's Régis Mesquita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kléber Rossi. Kléber Rossi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 38 played minutes, PEGARU FC's José Maria Catarinense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kléber Rossi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PEGARU FC reached it. After having played for 41 minutes, Régis Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEGARU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hugo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Kléber Rossi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Régis Mesquita made the kick off in the second half. Kléber Rossi came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by PEGARU FC's Hugo Peres. But to his dismay, Hugo Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 57th minute Régis Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes of play, PEGARU FC's Régis Mesquita made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléber Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 minutes, Kiko Messias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PEGARU FC and the Assacaio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Kiko Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, PEGARU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Rossi having to interfere. Kléber Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 79th minute Betinho Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Tande having to interfere. Kléber Rossi came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by PEGARU FC's Régis Mesquita. But to his dismay, Régis Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Maurinho Tande was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Fabiano Ramos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 89 minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Assacaio's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Mesquita came free, but Kléber Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Assacaio's Humberto Paiva got a free kick in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that PEGARU FC were the better team. PEGARU FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
