The supporters of Ferwe SC booed when Bartolomeu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duda de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Kauã Sarmento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duda de Souza was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Rodrigues in the 64th minute of play forced Bartolomeu's goalkeeper Duda de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Bartolomeu's goalkeeper Duda de Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erivaldo Cardoso. In the 75th minute of the match Júnior Mendes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duda de Souza skillfully saved the ball.
