Luiz Fábio da Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Luís Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Murillo Leal put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Parauapebas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for SF Aripuanã. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Zé Pedro Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Pedro Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SF Aripuanã booed when Parauapebas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position.
