Hortêncio Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Picolino Futebol Clube's Hortêncio Nascimento got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Anísio Ribeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldemar do Nascimento skillfully saved the ball. André Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabinho Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the game, André Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Egídio Félix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Betão Recife scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egídio Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute of the match, Nilmar de Almeida tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Waldemar do Nascimento saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. André Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Egídio Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, André Torres notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of NEYNARDO FUTEBOL MANAGER's Egídio Félix. Egídio Félix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Egídio Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Félix having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Torres in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio Félix saved NEYNARDO FUTEBOL MANAGER from getting behind. Betão Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If André Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Picolino Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Váldson Mesquita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Picolino Futebol Clube's corner Fabinho Queirós fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Egídio Félix quite easily take care of the ball. Waldemar do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Torres's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Egídio Félix skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When André Torres came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Picolino Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Torres couldn't finish the play. Betão Recife might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egídio Félix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Betão Recife ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Picolino Futebol Clube's Váldson Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Duarte in the 66th minute of play forced Picolino Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Waldemar do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes, NEYNARDO FUTEBOL MANAGER's Anísio Ribeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Waldemar do Nascimento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NEYNARDO FUTEBOL MANAGER reached it. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind NEYNARDO FUTEBOL MANAGER's goalkeeper Egídio Félix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Torres in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio Félix saved NEYNARDO FUTEBOL MANAGER from getting behind. After 74 played minutes NEYNARDO FUTEBOL MANAGER got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Paulista. In the 75th minute, Váldson Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Torres struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Egídio Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Picolino Futebol Clube. André Torres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Picolino Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
