If Tião Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tião Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arí de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Adilson Lara came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Olímpico Manaus F.C.'s Arí de Castro. But to his dismay, Arí de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Olímpico Manaus F.C.'s Eduardo Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Machado in the 17th minute of play. Christian Machado struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Eduardo Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachoeiro - FSCMZ. In the 33rd minute, Sílvio Luís Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Albertinho Furtado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adilson Lara. Albertinho Furtado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 38 minutes into the game, Arí de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olímpico Manaus F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachoeiro - FSCMZ the free kick. Arí de Castro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Albertinho Furtado took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adilson Lara. Adilson Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Adilson Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cícero Martins fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachoeiro - FSCMZ's protests and gave Cícero Martins a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cachoeiro - FSCMZ's Renatinho Vander got a free kick in the 54th minute. Pedro Borges hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Adilson Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Lima in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Cachoeiro - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Furtado came free, but Adilson Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cachoeiro - FSCMZ's Adilson Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí de Castro in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cachoeiro - FSCMZ's zone, Albertinho Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adilson Lara came out of the goal and Albertinho Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Albertinho Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Adilson Lara. Cachoeiro - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. A collision led to Olímpico Manaus F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Samuca Paranaense hit a great ball. Arí de Castro took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adilson Lara. Adilson Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Pedrinho Lima scored 7-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adilson Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute Arí de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cícero Martins was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. In the 93rd minute Pedrinho Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olímpico Manaus F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cachoeiro - FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
