Duda Senna hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson Netto in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Ribeiro saved E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting behind. When Jacinto Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E.C 2 Janeiro RS's protests and gave Jacinto Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes E.C 2 Janeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Neiva. After having played for 32 minutes, Wilson Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jägermeister FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilson Netto's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. David Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Jägermeister FC's Eliézer de Azevedo got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilson Netto was the one to do the kick off. When Geovanni Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E.C 2 Janeiro RS's protests and gave Geovanni Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. 55 minutes into the game, one of E.C 2 Janeiro RS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, David Ribeiro, was totally fooled by Jägermeister FC's Eliézer de Azevedo, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Eduardo Abraão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Ribeiro. That made the score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson Netto in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Ribeiro saved E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting behind. When Jägermeister FC's Wilson Netto in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 77th minute, Jägermeister FC's Fabrício Donato dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 81 minutes into the game, Samuel Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jägermeister FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E.C 2 Janeiro RS the free kick. In the 81st minute, Samuel Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson Netto in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Ribeiro saved E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting behind. In the 86thth minute of the game Wilson Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C 2 Janeiro RS's David Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Jägermeister FC booed when E.C 2 Janeiro RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Neiva in the 91st minute of the match. David Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilson Netto's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Wilson Netto in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Ribeiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jägermeister FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
