The referee ignored AE esporte clube's protests and gave Guilherme Teles a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Albertina booed when AE esporte clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Enio Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Albertina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Guto Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes AE esporte clube got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Teles. Luiz Fábio Custódio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betinho Lima in the 26th minute.
