Jeitosa EC's Olavo Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Lopez in the 6th minute of play. Marcel Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Paraense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the AE esporte clube defense, Amílton Gaspar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fábio Custódio. The AE esporte clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fábio Custódio should have stopped the shot. Ulysses Albuquerque charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulysses Albuquerque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulysses Albuquerque hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. AE esporte clube's Luiz Fábio Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Moraes in the 22nd minute of play. Amílton Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Custódio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AE esporte clube's Richard Sanches got a free kick in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Moraes in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fábio Custódio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Marcel Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AE esporte clube's Luiz Fábio Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Moraes in the 35th minute of play. Luiz Fábio Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Moraes in the 47th minute of play forced AE esporte clube's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The AE esporte clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jeitosa EC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Marcel Lopez made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Jeitosa EC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Armandinho Ortiz hit a great ball. Marcel Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guilherme Teles during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AE esporte clube's Guilherme Teles got a free kick in the 64th minute. Patrick Moraes scored 0-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fábio Custódio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Marcel Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Patrick Moraes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 76 minutes into the game, Faustão de Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AE esporte clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jeitosa EC the free kick. In the 76th match minute, AE esporte clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão de Souza to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes AE esporte clube got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Hermes. Marcel Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Olavo Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jeitosa EC booed when AE esporte clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Amílton Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Patrick Moraes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Fábio Custódio. Patrick Moraes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Ernani Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Paraense having to interfere. Ulysses Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Luiz Fábio Custódio made a huge save. Jeitosa EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
