Jailson Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Tróia made a huge save. Orlando Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 11 minutes, Cristóvão Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sem Juizo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristóvão Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Reducao AD defense, Abel Paraense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvaldo Tróia. The Reducao AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvaldo Tróia should have stopped the shot. Simão Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Reducao AD's Orlando Hermes. But to his dismay, Orlando Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Edvaldo Tróia made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jailson Valadares sent off a good shot on target. Alexsandro Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexsandro Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Reducao AD got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Teles. If José Carlos Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Afonso Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jailson Valadares got free with Edvaldo Tróia in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jailson Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvaldo Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jailson Valadares made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Sem Juizo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Sá to maneuver through the defense. Edvaldo Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Furtado in the 57th minute of the match. Cristóvão Ceresso struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Edvaldo Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sem Juizo. Edvaldo Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Sem Juizo's Jailson Valadares in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 76th minute, Jailson Valadares made a precise shot to the right of Edvaldo Tróia. Reducao AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. José Carlos Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reducao AD's Edvaldo Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Valadares in the 87th minute of play. Simão Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Jailson Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sem Juizo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
