Germano Donatello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Nação Rubro-negra F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Marquez came free, but Germano Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Dino Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Brasil made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Yuri Galvão sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th match minute, Nação Rubro-negra F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur de Carvalho in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Donatello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Nação Rubro-negra F.C's zone, Artur de Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Donatello came out of the goal and Artur de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Artur de Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabiuna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

After 53 played minutes Cabiuna got a freekick which was hit by Dino Dante. When Thomás Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Nação Rubro-negra F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomás Schmidt couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Nação Rubro-negra F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Marquez came free, but Germano Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute of the match, Dino Dante tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Germano Donatello saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luiz Marquez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Cabiuna's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Artur de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Germano Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77th play minutes Artur de Carvalho shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Germano Donatello and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Nação Rubro-negra F.C's Germano Donatello got control of the ball when Artur de Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nação Rubro-negra F.C's Fellipe Godoi got a free kick in the 85th minute. Rodriguinho Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Gabriel Carioca put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Nação Rubro-negra F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cabiuna:s goal. The referee gave Cabiuna a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cássio Rossi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nação Rubro-negra F.C's Germano Donatello. 1-5. Luiz Marquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Germano Donatello came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz Marquez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 99th minute. When the match was over Cabiuna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nação Rubro-negra F.C throughout the match.
