The supporters of Jacareipe booed when Jofre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cauã Branco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Motta went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Víktor Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauã Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Bezerra in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Jofre's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Motta came free, but Cauã Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evandro Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauã Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Motta in the 32nd minute of the match. Carlos Augusto Freire hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Cauã Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Blasco in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Alfredo Motta notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Jofre's Cauã Branco. Cauã Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Jofre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cauã Branco should have stopped the shot. Cauã Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Dantas in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jofre's João Augusto Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexsandro Prestes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cauã Branco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. Jofre's Cauã Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Jofre from getting a goal against them. After 64 played minutes Jacareipe got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Loyola. 67 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Jacareipe's Evaristo Blasco fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Víktor Dantas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 73rd playminute. A collision led to Jacareipe getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Serafim Loyola hit a great ball. Cauã Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Bezerra in the 79th minute of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Evandro Bezerra got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-10. 82 minutes into the match. Cauã Branco was a little too slow when Basílio de Sousa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-11. Basílio de Sousa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cauã Branco came out and tried to block the shot, but Basílio de Sousa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 89th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Alfredo Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacareipe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Jacareipe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jofre throughout the match.
