Alessandro Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Coutinho in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lendários Boleiros's zone, Ruy de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Mesquita came out of the goal and Ruy de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lendários Boleiros getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Saraiva hit a great ball. Hugo Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd match minute, FLAMANIA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy de Sena to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lendários Boleiros getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Horácio de Lara hit a great ball. Lendários Boleiros's Alessandro Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Coutinho in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match FLAMANIA FC got a corner. Lendários Boleiros's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artur Almeida ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Horácio de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Lendários Boleiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio de Lara couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Lendários Boleiros booed when FLAMANIA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Roberto Corrêa's late challenge caught a FLAMANIA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Roberto Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lendários Boleiros's Zé Roberto Corrêa got a free kick in the 39th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Coutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Lendários Boleiros's Alessandro Mesquita got control of the ball when Ruy de Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Horácio de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Amaral in the 59th minute of play forced FLAMANIA FC's goalkeeper Claudinho Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lendários Boleiros's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artur Almeida was slow to take the kick. During this time FLAMANIA FC's players had a chance to rest. Horácio de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Claudinho Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emerson Amaral went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ruy de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Mesquita having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horácio de Lara in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinho Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio de Lara in the 84th minute of the match. Ruy de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruy de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FLAMANIA FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ruy de Sena hit a great ball. Emerson Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Sanches having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Angelo Donatello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FLAMANIA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lendários Boleiros the free kick. In the 91st match minute, FLAMANIA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Donatello to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Emerson Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho Sanches was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
