Thunderstruck FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dadá Vasconcelos 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Dadá Vasconcelos had several of the Thunderstruck FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Wanderson de Salles as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio de Barros got free with Wanderson de Salles in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Thunderstruck FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Dadá Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Thunderstruck FC's goalkeeper Wanderson de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anísio de Barros. In the 30th minute, Itaberai FC's Edson Arósio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Dalmo Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Anísio de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes Thunderstruck FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Ribeiro. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Wanderson de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Thunderstruck FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Damião to maneuver through the defense. Wanderson de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio de Barros in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Thunderstruck FC's Miguel de Carvalho got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Anísio de Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wanderson de Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dráusio Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson de Salles having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dadá Vasconcelos in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wanderson de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dadá Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anísio de Barros struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Wanderson de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaberai FC. Dráusio Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson de Salles having to interfere. Thunderstruck FC were furious when David Cardoso was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Thunderstruck FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Itaberai FC:s goal. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Itaberai FC. Raí Esteves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wanderson de Salles. 5-0. Dráusio Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson de Salles having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Anísio de Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itaberai FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Itaberai FC's Dadá Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dadá Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Itaberai FC's Joel Meira got a free kick in the 97th minute. Ulisses Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. If Miguel de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Itaberai FC fully deserved thier win.
