Spectators: 7346 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valdemar Nunes got the match started through his kick off. When Borala FC's Vito Ortiz in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SpVgg Albrecht's goalie prevented a goal. Enrique Martins came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by SpVgg Albrecht's Rodrigo Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Gaúcho in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, SpVgg Albrecht's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Ortiz came free, but Haroldo Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Ortiz in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Gaúcho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Martins was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Borala FC's Enrique Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Nunes in the 16th minute of play. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Almir Loyola with Valdemar Nunes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 22 played minutes SpVgg Albrecht got a freekick which was hit by Almir Loyola. In the 26th minute, Vânderson Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to SpVgg Albrecht getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Matías Bastos hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Valdemar Nunes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Borala FC's Enrique Martins. Enrique Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Matías Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SpVgg Albrecht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Bastos couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fernandão Dante came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Borala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandão Dante couldn't finish the play. Valdemar Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Enrique Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Borala FC defense, Valdemar Nunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Martins. The Borala FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Martins should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Vito Ortiz made the kick off in the second half. If Valdemar Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Enrique Martins made a huge save. SpVgg Albrecht's Almir Loyola managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vânderson Saraiva in the 59 minute of the game. Borala FC's Enrique Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Borala FC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of SpVgg Albrecht:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Borala FC:s goal. In the 80th minute, Rodrigo Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Valdemar Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borala FC's Fernandão Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vito Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Alexandre Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borala FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.
