Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedrinho Britto took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Iuna booed when Pitangueira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válter Toledo in the 6th minute. Elano Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Iuna's Virgílio Aguiar tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Iuna getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Pedrinho Britto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Pitangueira AD's Rodolfo Montenegro got a free kick in the 15th minute. Válter Toledos short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Durvalino Chaves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Iuna defense, Cléberson Gaúcho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Schmidt. The Iuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Schmidt should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ricardinho Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitangueira AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Velloso in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Velloso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Iuna's Marcelo Schmidt. Marcelo Schmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Durvalino Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ricardinho Velloso took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Schmidt. Marcelo Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Iuna's Marcelo Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Velloso in the 37th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardinho Velloso to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Iuna's Válter Toledo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Durvalino Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válter Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cléberson Gaúcho hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Henrique Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Schmidt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardinho Velloso went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Virgílio Aguiar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The Iuna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pitangueira AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Pitangueira AD.
