After 10 played minutes FC Schöpf got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Vale. 13 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Schöpf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lemon Haze FC the free kick. In the 13th match minute, FC Schöpf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Vale to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Lemon Haze FC defense, Jean Paiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anísio Linares. The Lemon Haze FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anísio Linares should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Lemon Haze FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Paiva came free, but Anísio Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Ernesto Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Jean Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lauro Passos fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lemon Haze FC's protests and gave Lauro Passos a yellow card for diving instead. When Elói Bezerra fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Schöpf's protests and gave Elói Bezerra a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes FC Schöpf got a freekick which was hit by Elói Bezerra. Sydney de Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Eriberto Cordero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Lemon Haze FC's Sydney de Carvalho in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Schöpf's goalie prevented a goal. Vivaldo Cabral's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eriberto Cordero firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to FC Schöpf getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Oséias Vasconcelos hit a great ball. After the first half FC Schöpf were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eriberto Cordero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney de Carvalho in the 54th minute of play. Anísio Linares came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Schöpf's Jean Paiva. But to his dismay, Jean Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Raphael Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sydney de Carvalho in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Cordero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anísio Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Paiva in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute Raphael Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lemon Haze FC booed when FC Schöpf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Sydney de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Schöpf's Eriberto Cordero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lemon Haze FC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after FC Schöpf's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lauro Passos took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Sydney de Carvalho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Eriberto Cordero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney de Carvalho in the 84th minute of the match. Eriberto Cordero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Schöpf eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
