Bagre's Dito Camargo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Bagre from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the game, Váldson Gerber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Shox's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bagre the free kick. Luiz Fábio Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Bueno in the 36th minute of the match. If Joaquim Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bruno Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Shox's protests and gave Bruno Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Shox getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bruno Aguiar hit a great ball. Luiz Fábio Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Bueno in the 42nd minute of play. Luiz Fábio Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes FC Shox got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Catarinense. Luiz Fábio Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Bueno's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Dito Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Bittencourt in the 53rd minute of play forced Bagre's goalkeeper Dito Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Bruno Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 72nd minute, Bagre's Luís Paulo Marquez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luís Paulo Marquez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bagre protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luís Paulo Marquez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dito Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Remo Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bagre's protests and gave Remo Dantas a yellow card for diving instead.
