Zé Paulo Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Santana in the 9th minute of play. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jean Paiva sped through Vasco da Gama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Paulo Esteves. Jean Paiva scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Paulo Esteves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Schöpf fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when FC Schöpf's Jean Paiva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 30 played minutes Vasco da Gama got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Souza. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wiliam Souza in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Cordero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, FC Schöpf's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Souza came free, but Eriberto Cordero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséias Vasconcelos took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Paulo Esteves. Zé Paulo Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 46 played minutes FC Schöpf got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Vasconcelos. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiliam Souza was the one to do the kick off. If Wiliam Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to FC Schöpf getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. FC Schöpf's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Paulo Esteves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oséias Vasconcelos in the 78th minute. When FC Schöpf's Jean Paiva in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
