Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tubarello's Alex Aparecido started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Franklin Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Adolfo Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moisés Vidal hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Bagre booed when Tubarello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. When João Adolfo Sena came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Bagre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Adolfo Sena couldn't finish the play. Moisés Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moisés Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Tubarello defense, Luciano Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Xavier. The Tubarello fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Xavier should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Bagre's Luís Paulo Marquez got a free kick in the 28th minute. Zé Augusto Chaves, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 1-2 became the score in the 34th minute when Jailson Martins elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luciano Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Xavier having to interfere. Dito Camargo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tubarello's Jailson Martins. But to his dismay, Jailson Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Bueno to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bagre's Luís Paulo Marquez got a free kick in the 54th minute. Lenílson Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Moisés Vidal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dito Camargo came out and tried to block the shot, but Moisés Vidal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 62nd minute. In the 73rd minute Alex Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dito Camargo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jailson Martins in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mazinho Baiano during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tubarello booed when Bagre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Camargo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zé Augusto Chaves. 78 minutes into the match, Jailson Martins notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Bagre's Dito Camargo. Dito Camargo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Aparecido in the 88th minute of play forced Bagre's goalkeeper Dito Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Moisés Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bagre booed when Tubarello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 95th minute of the match Moisés Vidal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Moisés Vidal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 96 played minutes Tubarello got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Vidal.
