The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 11 minutes of play, Laranja EC's Didi Barros made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fábio Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Didi Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Didi Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Didi Barros hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Fabiano Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Shox's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 played minutes Laranja EC got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Pimenta. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Fabiano Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Shox's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romário Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Romário Dantas managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when FC Shox's Bruno Aguiar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Romário Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Loureiro in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Laranja EC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Walmyr Valle hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Shox's Hélio Teixeira got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 34 minutes of play, Laranja EC's Didi Barros made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fábio Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FC Shox booed when Laranja EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Sidney Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laranja EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Shox the free kick. Sidney Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Romário Dantas was a little too slow when Bruno Aguiar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Vítor Dante made a kick off. FC Shox's Luiz Fábio Valadares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Shox from getting a goal against them. FC Shox's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Vítor Dante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Romário Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Bittencourt in the 70th minute of the match. Cafu do Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Luiz Fábio Valadares made a huge save. Bruno Aguiar succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-5. After a rather tough play, Laranja EC's João Vítor Dante got a free kick in the 78th minute. Romário Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Aguiar in the 79th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Laranja EC's João Vítor Dante slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Fábio Valadares. That made the score 3-6 after 81 minutes of play. Romário Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Bittencourt took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romário Dantas. Romário Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Aguiar in the 91st minute of play forced Laranja EC's goalkeeper Romário Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 91st minute of the match Didi Barros completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Didi Barros a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Luiz Fábio Valadares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Laranja EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
