In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Macatuba's goalkeeper Enéas Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Macatuba defense, Batuğ Parskan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enéas Magalhães. The Macatuba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enéas Magalhães should have stopped the shot. Enéas Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batuğ Parskan's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Ronaldão Baptista's late challenge caught a PES United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldão Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Macatuba got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Baptista. Sydney Talló could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Enéas Magalhães made a huge save. In the 16th match minute, PES United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primeiro Ponta to maneuver through the defense. Batuğ Parskan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Enéas Magalhães made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Dante in the 20th minute of play forced PES United's goalkeeper Marco Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Dante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PES United booed when Macatuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Macatuba's zone, Batuğ Parskan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Magalhães came out of the goal and Batuğ Parskan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Macatuba's Enéas Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batuğ Parskan in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Batuğ Parskan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enéas Magalhães. Macatuba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batuğ Parskan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Zé Pedro Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Diguinho Rossi got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Otávio Andrade. In the 91st minute Batuğ Parskan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgar Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PES United had won after a very even match.
