The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Pedrinho Romero made the kick off in the second half. Jorginho Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. João Augusto Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Tabajara FC got a freekick which was hit by William de Almeida. When Tabajara FC's Jorginho Cardozo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Basarab Vrânceanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Augusto Peres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basarab Vrânceanu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute Basarab Vrânceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Augusto Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Esmaga defense, Basarab Vrânceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Augusto Peres. The Esmaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Augusto Peres should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Lauro Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esmaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Célio Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Esmaga's César Veiga got a free kick in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basarab Vrânceanu in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto Peres saved Esmaga from getting behind. After 83 minutes of play Esmaga's Lauro Nascimento was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Lauro Nascimento hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. João Augusto Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basarab Vrânceanu's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Jorginho Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Peres having to interfere. Jorginho Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
