Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) SANTOS F.C's Juan Leme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernardo Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Curupai's Loramendi Ugarte in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SANTOS F.C's goalie prevented a goal. If Loramendi Ugarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loramendi Ugarte struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Frank Cavalcante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curupai. In the 22nd minute, Carlos Eduardo de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur Valle hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The Curupai fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Curupai's Loramendi Ugarte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 38 in the game by Loramendi Ugarte from a close distance when the talented Frank Cavalcante managed to make a qualified save. SANTOS F.C's players were relieved. Frank Cavalcante was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Jefferson Couto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jefferson Couto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loramendi Ugarte to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Baiano got free with Roger Borges in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SANTOS F.C's Juan Leme suffered a sore thigh after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Carlos Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curupai's protests and gave Carlos Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. Loramendi Ugarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to SANTOS F.C getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alexsandro Branco hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Loramendi Ugarte sped through SANTOS F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Cavalcante. When the referee ended the match the Curupai players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
