Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zeca Queiroz made the kick off which started today's match. Paragua SS's Nestor Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Queiroz in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Fellipe Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paragua SS the free kick. Fellipe Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Edgar de Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeca Queiroz in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar de Salles in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute Duarte Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Queiroz in the 27th minute of play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Edgar de Salles from a close distance when the talented Nestor Galvão managed to make a qualified save. Paragua SS's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeca Queiroz in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Galvão saved Paragua SS from getting behind. Nestor Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar de Salles in the 32nd minute. Luizinho Sergipano in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nestor Galvão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 36th minute of the match, Edgar de Salles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nestor Galvão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Paragua SS's Nestor Galvão got control of the ball when Edgar de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinei Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Edgar de Salles scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Galvão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nestor Galvão came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores F.C.'s Zeca Queiroz. But to his dismay, Zeca Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Nestor Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Queiroz in the 60th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Paragua SS's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar de Salles came free, but Nestor Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play, Defensores F.C.'s Zeca Queiroz made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Galvão was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Queiroz in the 83rd minute of play forced Paragua SS's goalkeeper Nestor Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Nestor Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar de Salles in the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Zeca Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute Edgar de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zeca Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paragua SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Defensores F.C..
