The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Bento during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Richard Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nelsinho Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Geraldo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dorian Urbano hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Sarandy FC defense, Geraldo Peres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Esteves. The Sarandy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Esteves should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Berger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zaca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarandy FC the free kick. Edvaldo Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match.
