With a little luck, Passinhos EC's Svante Sikström got control of the ball when Arthur de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Vaz to strike the kick off in the second half. Isaltino Torres hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Fellipe Braga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Svante Sikström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Svante Sikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur de Lara in the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Passinhos EC defense, Wellington Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svante Sikström. The Passinhos EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Sikström should have stopped the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Isaltino Torres put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Passinhos EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! 74 minutes into the match, Arthur de Lara notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Passinhos EC's Svante Sikström. Svante Sikström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Svante Sikström came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by MOCAMBINHENSE SA's Wellington Cearense. But to his dismay, Wellington Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 97 minutes into the match, MOCAMBINHENSE SA's goalkeeper Emerson Marquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráusio Mendes. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MOCAMBINHENSE SA fully deserved thier win.
