After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Tomás Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarandy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luís Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelsinho Esteves was a little too slow when Nereo Bento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience was convinced that Paulo Renato Rosado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Luís Monteiro was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Nereo Bento did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Nelsinho Esteves 17 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, Nereo Bento made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sarandy FC's Nelsinho Esteves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Elivélton Mota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelsinho Esteves was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Zaca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Rosado came free, but André Luís Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Renato Rosado in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Luís Monteiro saved Zaca FC from getting behind. Nereo Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Zaca FC booed when Sarandy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelsinho Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Bento's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Richard Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Renato Rosado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Sarandy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Bento came free, but Nelsinho Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zaca FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dida Varela in the 58th minute. Nelsinho Esteves came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Zaca FC's Nereo Bento. But to his dismay, Nereo Bento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 72 minutes into the match, Sarandy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Mota came free, but Nelsinho Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Zaca FC's Nereo Bento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelsinho Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 79 minutes into the match, Zaca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Sá came free, but André Luís Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The Zaca FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Zaca FC's Nereo Bento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Bento in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Esteves saved Sarandy FC from getting behind. Sarandy FC's Paulo Renato Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelsinho Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Bento in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarandy FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zaca FC.
