Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Silves AD's Genílson Alvarenga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Silves AD's goalkeeper Sílvio de Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarbas Vieira. 11 minutes into the match, Riconada EC's Luiz Fabiano Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio de Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Riconada EC's Jean Campidelis got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Jarbas Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silves AD's Sílvio de Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Jean Campidelis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Silves AD's Sílvio de Sousa. Sílvio de Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Silves AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ismael Cardoso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ismael Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio de Sousa having to interfere. Alfredinho Saraiva came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Silves AD's José Maria Trevisan. But to his dismay, José Maria Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. José Paulo Figueiredo's late challenge caught a Riconada EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Riconada EC booed when Silves AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sílvio de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Ortiz in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Luiz Fabiano Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarbas Vieira in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio de Sousa saved Silves AD from getting behind. Sílvio de Sousa came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Riconada EC's Jean Campidelis. But to his dismay, Jean Campidelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 43 minutes into the match, Silves AD's goalkeeper Sílvio de Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarbas Vieira. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarbas Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Jarbas Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Silves AD defense, Jarbas Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio de Sousa. The Silves AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio de Sousa should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Edu Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riconada EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Edu Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio de Sousa having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match Alexandre Domingues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio de Sousa skillfully saved the ball. Alfredinho Saraiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Dionísio in the 77th minute. Jarbas Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sílvio de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio de Sousa having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Abreu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio de Sousa having to make a save. If Claudinho Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Riconada EC's Jarbas Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Silves AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio de Sousa came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Riconada EC's Luiz Fabiano Abreu. But to his dismay, Luiz Fabiano Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1.
