Bruninho Salles scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Eger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 6 minutes into the match, CJ HENRIQUE FC's Álvaro Maranhense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Iuri Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Anderson Viana. CJ HENRIQUE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 15 minutes into the game, Lauro Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CJ HENRIQUE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fazenda Rio Grande FC the free kick. In the 15th minute, Lauro Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruninho Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Eger having to interfere. José Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Bruninho Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fazenda Rio Grande FC's Frank Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Wiliam Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Fazenda Rio Grande FC's goalkeeper José Eger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruninho Salles. José Eger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustão Abreu's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 32nd match minute, Fazenda Rio Grande FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Frank Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauro Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bruninho Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

After 50 minutes, Artur Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CJ HENRIQUE FC and the Fazenda Rio Grande FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Artur Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Lucas in the 51st minute of play forced CJ HENRIQUE FC's goalkeeper Anderson Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CJ HENRIQUE FC booed when Fazenda Rio Grande FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruninho Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. José Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fazenda Rio Grande FC's zone, Faustão Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Eger came out of the goal and Faustão Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anderson Viana was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iuri Antunes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 73 minute of play. Iuri Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Viana having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Artur Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CJ HENRIQUE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Fazenda Rio Grande FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Wiliam Rodrigues hit a great ball. Lauro Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauro Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anderson Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see CJ HENRIQUE FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
