NAVAS's Júlio Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê de Barros in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto de Godoi made a kick off. Gláuber Gonçalves hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The long shot by Magno Nóbrega in the 54th minute really tested Júlio Camargo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Júlio Camargo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benê de Barros got free with Júlio Camargo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the game, Benê de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Júlio Camargo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Dagoberto Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. EC Dado Bier's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Dagoberto Saraiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Camargo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The supporters of EC Dado Bier booed when NAVAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Obar Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. NAVAS's Júlio Camargo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save NAVAS from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. EC Dado Bier had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
