Albert Omescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho McLaren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Pitta's late challenge caught a Dinamo Brasil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renato Pitta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, NAVAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Edson Trancoso in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Júlio Camargo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edson Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th match minute, NAVAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Edson Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Camargo having to interfere. NAVAS's Paulinho McLaren got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Omescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Dinamo Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho McLaren came free, but Albert Omescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Omescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Fausto de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Albert Omescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto de Godoi in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Omescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albert Omescu came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by NAVAS's Paulinho McLaren. But to his dismay, Paulinho McLaren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Beremundo Pantoja hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Paulinho McLaren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Omescu having to interfere. Paulinho McLaren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Dinamo Brasil's Gilmar Mattos was substituted for Edson Trancoso. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto de Godoi to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sacit Serimer during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Dinamo Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Sacit Serimer. Júlio Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beremundo Pantoja, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinamo Brasil's Albert Omescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto de Godoi in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, NAVAS's Paulinho McLaren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Omescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Dudu Teixeira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albert Omescu. That made the score 1-3 in the 87 minute of play. Júlio Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Pena in the 91st minute of play. Albert Omescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute, NAVAS's Dudu Teixeira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albert Omescu. Albert Omescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The NAVAS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NAVAS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
