Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Natanael Toscano made the kick off which started today's match. Humberto Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guaratiba FC! After 8 played minutes Choyolovers got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Arce. Pedro Paulo Teles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Tavares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Choyolovers booed when Guaratiba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Tande's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Vladimir Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Vladimir Tavares made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Natanael Toscano sent off a good shot on target. Humberto Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Sena in the 25th minute of play. If Maurinho Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Guaratiba FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Breno Antunes hit a great ball. Natanael Toscano took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Tavares. Vladimir Tavares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 40th minute, Maurinho Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Guaratiba FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Breno Antunes hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Guaratiba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Toscano came free, but Vladimir Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silas Sena made a kick off. Conrado Sarmento came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Humberto Guimarães could save by the left post. Pedro Paulo Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Natanael Toscano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Tavares. Guaratiba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natanael Toscano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Tiaguinho Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Guaratiba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Silas Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Choyolovers's Humberto Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Sena in the 67th minute of play. Vladimir Tavares came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Choyolovers's Tiaguinho Massa. But to his dismay, Tiaguinho Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 78th minute Silas Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Conrado Sarmento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Humberto Guimarães. The goal made the score 4-2. Jefferson Custódio charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jefferson Custódio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When João Pedro Bittencourt fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaratiba FC's protests and gave João Pedro Bittencourt a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Guaratiba FC got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Bittencourt. After some careless play in the Guaratiba FC defense, Maurinho Vasconcelos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimir Tavares. The Guaratiba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Tavares should have stopped the shot. Tiaguinho Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vladimir Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natanael Toscano's late challenge caught a Guaratiba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natanael Toscano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Choyolovers getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Natanael Toscano hit a great ball. Choyolovers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
