Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lauro Sabóia got the match started through his kick off. Gilberto Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Geovânio Lima put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rodriguinho Amorim. In the 10th minute Lauro Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match Valle Vista AFC got a corner. Ibrahy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Noel Favoretto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 14 played minutes Valle Vista AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dida Recife. If Ruy Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Lauro Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando de Castro in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Barros in the 24th minute of play. When Felippe Meira fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibrahy's protests and gave Felippe Meira a yellow card for diving instead. Felippe Meira hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ruy Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodriguinho Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruy Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodriguinho Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme de Queirós in the 35th minute of play. Gilberto Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Barros in the 38th minute of play forced Ibrahy's goalkeeper Gilberto Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Lauro Sabóia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, Valle Vista AFC's Lauro Sabóia got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovânio Lima to make the kick off. Rodriguinho Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Valle Vista AFC's Rodriguinho Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Félix in the 56th minute of play. Rodriguinho Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovânio Lima in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Amorim saved Valle Vista AFC from getting behind. Lauro Sabóia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilberto Guedes came out and tried to block the shot, but Lauro Sabóia slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Barros in the 65th minute of play forced Ibrahy's goalkeeper Gilberto Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovânio Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Fernando de Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Guedes. Ibrahy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando de Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Ibrahy's Gilberto Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ibrahy from getting a goal against them. Ibrahy's Geovânio Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Valle Vista AFC's zone, Luís Guilherme de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Amorim came out of the goal and Luís Guilherme de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wellington Diniz charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Diniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valle Vista AFC! In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Ibrahy. Geovânio Lima stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rodriguinho Amorim. 3-3. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valle Vista AFC's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 88 minutes, Geovânio Lima made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Valle Vista AFC's Rodriguinho Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dida Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dida Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dida Recife hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Cauã Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Ibrahy's Luís Guilherme de Queirós got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Evandro Barros came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gilberto Guedes could save by the left post.
