Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Valle Vista AFC's Lauro Sabóia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cícero Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wágner de Souza during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wágner de Souza to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Flamengo's Cícero Camargo got control of the ball when Fernando de Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliézer Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Lauro Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cícero Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodriguinho Amorim came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo's Breno Miranda. But to his dismay, Breno Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Breno Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Amorim having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Valle Vista AFC's zone, Breno Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Amorim came out of the goal and Breno Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Munhoz during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Cícero Camargo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lauro Sabóia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 35 minute of play. After 38 played minutes, Flamengo's Magno dos Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodriguinho Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flamengo reached it. A collision led to Valle Vista AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. André Luís Britto hit a great ball. Hélder Bezerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodriguinho Amorim. Valle Vista AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Breno Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguinho Amorim was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game.

The wind increased when Eliézer Félix made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Valle Vista AFC got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Barros. When Flamengo's Eliézer Félix in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rodriguinho Amorim guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Fernando de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Camargo having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Renatinho Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Félix in the 63rd minute of the match. Lauro Sabóia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cícero Camargo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Breno Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Amorim made a huge save. In the 68th minute Lauro Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Valle Vista AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. André Luís Britto hit a great ball. Rodriguinho Amorim came out of the goal and Eliézer Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Félix in the 81st minute of play forced Valle Vista AFC's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Félix in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Noel Favoretto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Flamengo's Cícero Camargo didn't even have to move. When Renatinho Xavier was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Breno Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodriguinho Amorim made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Breno Miranda sent off a good shot on target. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
