The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo do Valle got free with Gilberto Guedes in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Luís Guilherme de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Guedes came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Pitico Caiu FC's Gustavo do Valle. But to his dismay, Gustavo do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gustavo do Valle hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Campidelis in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Félix in the 33rd minute of play forced Pitico Caiu FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme de Queirós in the 35th minute of the match. Silas Monteiro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Lima in the 39th minute of play. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After a defensive mix-up in Ibrahy's zone, Eustaquio Primo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Guedes came out of the goal and Eustaquio Primo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 53 minutes into the match, Pitico Caiu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio Lima came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Geovânio Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Ibrahy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Gustavo do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Guedes. Ibrahy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Eustaquio Primo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gilberto Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Hamílton Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pitico Caiu FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Marcelinho Torres hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Geovânio Lima took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Marcelo Gröhe to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Lima in the 79th minute of play forced Pitico Caiu FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovânio Lima did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Marcelo Gröhe 81 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes Geovânio Lima rounded Pitico Caiu FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. Ruy Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Geovânio Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Gröhe. Geovânio Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5.
