Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcos Schmidt made the kick off which started today's match. Ezequiel Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Schmidt in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jemuz's Elder Mendes got a free kick in the 17th minute. Marcos Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arlindo Travassos came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jemuz's Dalmo Falcão. But to his dismay, Dalmo Falcão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arlindo Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Falcão in the 29th minute of the match. Arlindo Travassos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jemuz's Edson Arantes. But to his dismay, Edson Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 35 minutes into the match, Canoeiros's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Arantes came free, but Arlindo Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edson Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Arlindo Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arlindo Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Palmeira in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Antônio Porto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Arlindo Travassos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 played minutes Marcos Schmidt rounded Jemuz's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. After the first half Jemuz were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antônio Porto to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Antônio Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmo Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Arlindo Travassos made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Canoeiros's goalkeeper Arlindo Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmo Falcão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Porto in the 63rd minute of play forced Canoeiros's goalkeeper Arlindo Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Márcio Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleiton Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Antônio Porto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arlindo Travassos, 1-5. After 84 played minutes Antônio Porto rounded Canoeiros's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. Arlindo Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
