Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andrézinho Tinoco took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to FC Red Ale Perdizes getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Amílton Baiano hit a great ball. Cássio Brasil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frédson Nunes. FC Red Ale Perdizes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Haroldo Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Sousa came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Red Ale Perdizes's Kaká Sanches. But to his dismay, Kaká Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Elias Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Arósio in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Kaká Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davi Borges during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Douradinho EC's goalkeeper Elias Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Claudinho Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douradinho EC were furious when Cássio Brasil was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Douradinho EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Red Ale Perdizes:s goal. The referee gave FC Red Ale Perdizes a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Augusto Almeida, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa. 0-2. Elias Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Kaká Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Matos in the 42nd minute of the match. Andrézinho Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Nunes having to interfere. After the first half FC Red Ale Perdizes were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaká Sanches to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Haroldo Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Douradinho EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frédson Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rafa Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Haroldo Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Douradinho EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Andrézinho Tinoco put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Frédson Nunes. Kaká Sanches blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Sousa having to make a save. Rafa Arósio in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elias Sousa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa got control of the ball when Rafa Arósio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Sousa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ediberto Alves. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Red Ale Perdizes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
