Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Carlos Fonseca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Naldo Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Alberto Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Carlos Alberto Eger came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Tambaqui FC's Naldo Simão. But to his dismay, Naldo Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 31stth minute of the game Naldo Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dormideira SC's Carlos Alberto Eger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renato Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Alberto Eger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Perez's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Carlos Alberto Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Perez in the 42nd minute of play. Renato Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Kaká Pinho made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Carlos Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dormideira SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tambaqui FC the free kick. After 52 played minutes Dormideira SC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fonseca. The supporters of Dormideira SC booed when Tambaqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Brasil's late challenge caught a Dormideira SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. Marcel Brasil hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Dormideira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Simão came free, but Carlos Alberto Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Alberto Eger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Simão in the 62nd minute. Robinho Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Hugo Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 95th minute Kaká Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
