After having played for 22 minutes, Arif Oğuz Yağızalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UR6 do Imirim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Oğuz Yağızalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Arif Oğuz Yağızalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Renato Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Águias de Alagoas F.C defense, Arif Oğuz Yağızalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Carlos Moura. The Águias de Alagoas F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Moura should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Valdir Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Carlos Moura. Águias de Alagoas F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdir Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Gildo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to UR6 do Imirim getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Chiquinho Freire hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Oğuz Yağızalp was the one to do the kick off. Wilson Campidelis came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Águias de Alagoas F.C's Paulo Renato Fontes. But to his dismay, Paulo Renato Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Umberto Souza scored 3-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, one of UR6 do Imirim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UR6 do Imirim. A collision led to Águias de Alagoas F.C getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rubens Paulista hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Gildo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes, Águias de Alagoas F.C's Rubens Paulista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilson Campidelis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Águias de Alagoas F.C reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Souza in the 81st minute of play forced UR6 do Imirim's goalkeeper Wilson Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Umberto Souza took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Campidelis. Wilson Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. João Carlos Moura was a little too slow when Chiquinho Freire got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 5-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, Águias de Alagoas F.C could leave the field as winners, despite UR6 do Imirim having more of the ball for most of the match.
