Real-United-States's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Fantasialunatica's Dênis Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dadá Trevisan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 15th minute, Dênis Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horácio Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Rodrigo Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Vítor Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Paulista having to interfere. Celsinho Lago hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Fantasialunatica's Dudu Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Real-United-States got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Vasconcelos. Dênis Pernambucano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Dadá Trevisan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Ciro Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ciro Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fantasialunatica's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dadá Trevisan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the game, Oséias Rosado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real-United-States's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fantasialunatica the free kick. The supporters of Fantasialunatica booed when Real-United-States was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dadá Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dênis Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Tepedino in the 52nd minute of play forced Fantasialunatica's goalkeeper Jefferson Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joel Vander fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fantasialunatica's protests and gave Joel Vander a yellow card for diving instead. Joel Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Horácio Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match Elivélton Vasconcelos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson Paulista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jefferson Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 61 played minutes Real-United-States got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Guimarães. Fantasialunatica's Jefferson Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Fantasialunatica from getting a goal against them. Dadá Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Rossi in the 85th minute of play. Fantasialunatica's Jefferson Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Rocha in the 87th minute of play. Dênis Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dadá Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Trevisan having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Dênis Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dênis Pernambucano in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dadá Trevisan saved Real-United-States from getting behind. If Dudu Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fantasialunatica fully deserved thier win.
