When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Roberto Correia made a kick off. Jaguarary FC's Tiaguinho Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Trigo in the 52nd minute of play. Eliézer Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58thth minute of the game Zé Roberto Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sururu FC's Eliézer Ferraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sururu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jaguarary FC had won after a very even match.
