In the 10th minute, Roger Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Thor Asplund notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Atauba EC's Carlinhos Freitas. Carlinhos Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iuri Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Thor Asplund made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Atauba EC's Carlinhos Freitas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Geraldo Toscano charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geraldo Toscano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Raiders SC got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Toscano. Raiders SC's Vítor Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Raiders SC from getting a goal against them. Carlinhos Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thor Asplund's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Raiders SC defense, Róbson de Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Abraão. The Raiders SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Abraão should have stopped the shot. Fausto Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cacá Pombal was the one to do the kick off. Fausto Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Carlinhos Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Elias Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atauba EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. If Róbson de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Atauba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Schmidt came free, but Carlinhos Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Atauba EC booed when Raiders SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Raiders SC booed when Atauba EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Cacá Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Pombal in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witomir Czysty got free with Carlinhos Freitas in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roger Salles hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Fausto Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Fausto Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raiders SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 86 in the game by Thor Asplund from a close distance when the talented Carlinhos Freitas managed to make a qualified save. Atauba EC's players were relieved. If Fausto Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlinhos Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thor Asplund in the 90th minute. Thor Asplund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Carlinhos Freitas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Raiders SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
