Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jeferson do Vale made the kick off which started today's match. Vitório Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dé Faria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Nicolas Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dé Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Mirinzal SS's Gildo Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remo Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Dé Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Bastos in the 13th minute of the match. Dé Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Braga in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Júnior Alcântara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remo Neves skillfully saved the ball. In the 39th minute, Gildo Salgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Gildo Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirinzal SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremias Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dé Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel de Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Remo Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeferson do Vale's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 60th play minute Jeremias Braga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dé Faria. 1-1. The supporters of Mirinzal SS booed when Cabreiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gildo Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Remo Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jeremias Braga came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cabreiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Braga couldn't finish the play. Remo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Mirinzal SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cabreiro:s goal. Leonel de Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio Catarinense hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Egídio Machado from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Dé Faria's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gildo Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Remo Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Frank Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Jeferson do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mirinzal SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
