The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovani Trigo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Geovani Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Pereira was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Perivaldo Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perivaldo Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eliézer Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mané Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio do Valle in the 15th minute of the match. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Egídio do Valle came free, but Mané Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio do Valle in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Sururu FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Geovani Trigo made the kick off in the second half. Mané Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Geovani Trigo took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Mané Pereira to make any attempt to save it. Perivaldo Mangueira missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 63 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eliézer Ferraz right hand side. Nico Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nico Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vagabundos do MZ F.C. booed when Sururu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s Remo Hermes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sururu FC. Mané Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio do Valle in the 70th minute. Geovani Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Pereira having to interfere. Mané Pereira made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Egídio do Valle sent off a good shot on target. Geovani Trigo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mané Pereira came out and tried to block the shot, but Geovani Trigo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Siqueira in the 80th minute of play forced Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Mané Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s Mané Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Vagabundos do MZ F.C. from getting a goal against them. When Sururu FC's Egídio do Valle in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute, Geovani Trigo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mané Pereira. The goal made the score 0-5. Egídio do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vagabundos do MZ F.C.'s Renatinho Paraíba got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Geovani Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sururu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mané Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mané Pereira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nico Catarinense. The crowd rose to their feet as Sururu FC's Geovani Trigo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mané Pereira. That made the score 0-6 after 95 minutes of play. Sururu FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
