After a rather tough play, Mohameds Club's Giovanni Seco got a free kick in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Mohameds Club's Magno Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus de Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Nilgolzerazon's zone, Magno Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus de Almeida came out of the goal and Magno Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Nilgolzerazon's Hieronim Barowicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Hieronim Barowicz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Nilgolzerazon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otávio Arantes during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nilgolzerazon's Otávio Arantes got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Otávio Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Otávio Arantes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nilgolzerazon! Nilgolzerazon:s Mateus de Almeida showed great skill when he stopped Giovanni Seco:s penalty. Nilgolzerazon's Mateus de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Pereira in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Aldomiro Cistero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Evandro Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Pereira got free with Mateus de Almeida in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nilgolzerazon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Giovanni Seco was slow to take the kick. During this time Mohameds Club's players had a chance to rest. Mohameds Club's Jairo Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evandro Pereira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Mateus de Almeida skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mateus de Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Pereira in the 61st minute. If Evandro Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nilgolzerazon's Percival Arósio got a free kick in the 66th minute. Mateus de Almeida acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Giovanni Seco. After 71 played minutes Mohameds Club got a freekick which was hit by Magno Costa. Ricardinho Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nilgolzerazon getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ricardinho Fernandes hit a great ball. Evandro Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Mateus de Almeida made a huge save. Mohameds Club's Inácio Messias shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mateus de Almeida but with some difficulty. Evandro Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 minutes, Percival Arósio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nilgolzerazon and the Mohameds Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nilgolzerazon getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Percival Arósio hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
