Siro Edur was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 9th match minute, Marau Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Prado to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Marau Fc's goalkeeper Oséias Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Carrasco. Enéas Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Pedro Luís Baiano charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Luís Baiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31st play minutes Pedro Luís Baiano shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Enéas Eger and just under the crossbar into goal. Eduardo Xavier made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A.C. Kearny's Dương Hung. In the 40th minute, Ramiro Carrasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C. Kearny fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Raphael Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Enéas Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Edur to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Adriano Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.C. Kearny's Willian Batista suffered a concussion after 56 minutes and had to leave the field. 56 minutes into the game, Eduardo Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marau Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. Kearny the free kick. A.C. Kearny's Nilson Valadares was substituted for Willian Batista. The supporters of A.C. Kearny booed when Marau Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oséias Silveira came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Kearny's Siro Edur. But to his dismay, Siro Edur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 67 played minutes A.C. Kearny got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Tepedino. Vitório Maia hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Oséias Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Carrasco went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Pedro Luiz Tepedino's late challenge caught a Marau Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Luiz Tepedino helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Luís Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A.C. Kearny's Nilson Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
