In the 3rd minute, Mané Garrincha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balança Rede FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 10 minutes, Emanuel Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balança Rede FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Vergílio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roque Garrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Gonçalves in the 13th minute of play. Roque Garrick came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Balança Rede FC's Mané Garrincha. But to his dismay, Mané Garrincha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 26 minutes into the match, Mané Garrincha notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of VR. GARARU's Roque Garrick. Roque Garrick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Balança Rede FC's Mané Garrincha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. After 32nd play minutes Mané Garrincha shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Roque Garrick and just under the crossbar into goal. Roque Garrick stood somewhat misplaced when Mané Garrincha came free in front of goal and shot 8-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in VR. GARARU's zone, Daniel das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Garrick came out of the goal and Daniel das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mané Garrincha might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Garrick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mané Garrincha ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, VR. GARARU's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Garrincha came free, but Roque Garrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geraldo Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Garrincha in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Garrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roque Garrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Balança Rede FC were awarded a corner. Marcelinho Cearense went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the VR. GARARU defense, Geraldo Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Garrick. The VR. GARARU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Garrick should have stopped the shot. VR. GARARU's Roque Garrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Gonçalves in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match Balança Rede FC got a corner. VR. GARARU's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelinho Cearense ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Balança Rede FC's Marcelinho Cearense to fire away a dangerous shot which Roque Garrick despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roque Garrick came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Balança Rede FC's Mané Garrincha. But to his dismay, Mané Garrincha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Eric Hostyn kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Roque Garrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Garrincha in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the VR. GARARU defense, Guto de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Garrick. The VR. GARARU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Garrick should have stopped the shot. Roque Garrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mané Garrincha's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Geraldo Gonçalves succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 14-0. After a rather tough play, VR. GARARU's Stefanos Marketis got a free kick in the 89th minute. Marcelinho Cearense struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Roque Garrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balança Rede FC. Mané Garrincha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 minutes, Mané Garrincha made it 15-0 with a short kick to the right side. VR. GARARU's Roque Garrick tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
