Durvalino Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hudson Dias in the 40th minute of play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Trevisan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Wellington Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Trevisan having to interfere. After 93 played minutes, Arranca Toco da Paraíba's Dé Dracena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armando Trevisan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arranca Toco da Paraíba reached it. Armando Trevisan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nando Goiano's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arranca Toco da Paraíba had won after a very even match.
