In the 6th match minute, Deficit Capixaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Paolo Guerrero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Válbson Hoffmann. Deficit Capixaba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Luís Paulo Netto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Deficit Capixaba's Válbson Hoffmann. Válbson Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paolo Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Paolo Guerrero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Brasília fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Válbson Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Guerrero in the 23rd minute of the match. Robert Kaminski scored 1-4 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Válbson Hoffmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Paulo Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Kaminski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Andrézinho Paranaense notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Deficit Capixaba's Válbson Hoffmann. Válbson Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute Andrézinho Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Andrézinho Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Brasília's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válbson Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Brasília's goalkeeper Wellington de Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44thth minute of the game Robert Kaminski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deficit Capixaba's Válbson Hoffmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Beto Souto fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deficit Capixaba's protests and gave Beto Souto a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Deficit Capixaba got a freekick which was hit by Beto Souto. After the first half Real Brasília were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrézinho Paranaense made a kick off. Válbson Hoffmann was a little too slow when Robert Kaminski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-6. The supporters of Real Brasília booed when Deficit Capixaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Paulo Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Deficit Capixaba's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Kaminski came free, but Válbson Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Robert Kaminski notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Deficit Capixaba's Válbson Hoffmann. Válbson Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deficit Capixaba's Válbson Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Guerrero in the 69th minute of play. Andrézinho Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Válbson Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Brasília. Real Brasília's attentive Tiago Breckenfeld managed to snatch the ball when Geovanni Hoffmann made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Válbson Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Andrézinho Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Brasília's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 79th minute, Andrézinho Paranaense fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Real Brasília's Luís Paulo Netto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Geovanni Hoffmann in the 80 minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Real Brasília's Paolo Guerrero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. Real Brasília's Luís Paulo Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Brasília's Paulo José Sarmento was substituted for Robert Kaminski. Paulo José Sarmento was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Real Brasília's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Válbson Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Paulo José Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Brasília's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
