When Beto Vianna came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the XxX-x fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Vianna couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes XxX-x got a freekick which was hit by César Bittencourt. When Giovani Peres came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Real Position fans jumped to their feet. He walked away shaking his head. 30 minutes into the game, Diguinho Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Position's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XxX-x the free kick. In the 30th minute, Diguinho Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doni Tinoco hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Real Position's Marquinhos de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Chaves in the 38th minute of play. Marquinhos de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Vianna in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Vianna in the 42nd minute of play forced Real Position's goalkeeper Marquinhos de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beto Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Beto Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto Vianna to make the kick off. When Nilson Dias fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XxX-x's protests and gave Nilson Dias a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, XxX-x's Nilson Dias got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Beto Vianna put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marquinhos de Medeiros. Marquinhos de Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Vianna in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Vianna in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marquinhos de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the game, Beto Vianna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marquinhos de Medeiros. After 83 minutes, Remo Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XxX-x and the Real Position players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, XxX-x's Remo Chaves got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Real Position's zone, Beto Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos de Medeiros came out of the goal and Beto Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquinhos de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Chaves in the 89th minute of the match. Marquinhos de Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Vianna in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Position's goalkeeper Marquinhos de Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to XxX-x getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Duarte Tróia hit a great ball. Tomás Trancoso hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
